Hendersonville, NC – Juniper is pleased to announce the launch of a new, small business with the mission of crafting meaningful experiences for travelers, locals and businesses by curating itineraries and planning gatherings to save people time and help them better connect to one another and Western North Carolina.
After opening for a soft launch in January 2022, Juniper held a ribbon cutting and launch party at Continuum Art with the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce on Monday, May 23rd to celebrate their official opening with more than 100 community members in attendance.
Juniper offers curated, personalized itineraries for people traveling or looking to relocate to Western North Carolina. Visitors receive a questionnaire that clarifies the experiences they are looking for and receive a detailed, mobile-friendly itinerary for their stay with food, beverage and activity recommendations. The itinerary is complete with directions, menus, local tips, parking suggestions and travel time.
In addition to serving area travelers, Juniper also helps locals who are planning a staycation, special occasion, or small event. A recent local client noted, “Juniper provided thoughtful curation of activities, meals, and personalized tips that made our staycation day so special, and perfect for this couple who sometimes needs the reminder to slow down and just BE together.”
Juniper also provides services to businesses that are recruiting talent from outside the area. Candidates receive a personalized itinerary that allows them to experience the best of the area while they are in town to interview. A Juniper client and candidate from a local hospital commented on the service saying, “We really appreciated the thoughtful itinerary and visited many of the places you suggested. I cannot express to you how much the itinerary really helped with making the interview experience exceptional!”
Summer Stipe, Juniper’s founder, is a Henderson County native and graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill who has spent the majority of her career working in the local nonprofit sector, and she most recently served as the Executive Director of the Henderson County Education Foundation for the last five and a half years. With 15 years of experience in program and event planning, fundraising, and community collaboration, she is thrilled to bring her years of professional experience and community knowledge to launch Juniper.
